Visit Ecuador (One-Day Visits)
Are you planning a trip to Ecuador? We invite you to visit and see the work happening at For His Children. We will provide a one-hour tour of the homes and share more about how vulnerable and orphaned children are helped through the love and care they receive. To check availability, please email Stephy Estrada at stephy@forhischildren-ecuador.org.
Bring a Team
Short-term mission teams bring encouragement to our staff, plan fun and meaningful activities for the children, and provide financial support which allows the children to continue receiving the quality care and love they need. We welcome groups of 8 to 12 people for trips of 7-9 days.
Your team will experience FHC’s mission and vision first-hand by interacting with staff members and seeing their work. You’ll also plan creative activities for the children and work on maintenance and gardening projects around the homes. You’ll be able to participate in other outreach activities, as well as visiting some of the must-see cultural sites in and around Quito and Latacunga.
Teams do not provide direct care for the children, as that is the role of FHC’s tías (caregivers). However, as they interact with the children and staff through planned activities, they are encouraged to reflect on God’s love for each person. The team experience allows members to connect with each other on a deeper level and be challenged in their faith.
Teams will be required to complete an application. Each team member will receive pre-trip training and must complete a background check. For more information, email Stephy Estrada at stephy@forhischildren-ecuador.org.
