Jen joined For His Children in 2009. She served as the International Ministries Coordinator, overseeing short-term mission teams for many years. In 2018, she assumed the role of Executive Director, overseeing the staff of For His Children, connecting with donors, serving on the Board of Directors and promoting the organization around the world. Jen is a graduate of Gordon College with degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish. She also holds a master’s degree in Holistic Child Development. Jen, her husband Marcus, and their two sons split their time between Norfolk, Virginia, and Quito, Ecuador.

Jennifer Thomas
Verónica joined the staff in 2001 and oversees the daily operations of the organization. Her role involves planning and executing all operational activities at the homes in Quito and Latacunga. Verónica manages the team of staff in Ecuador and holds a degree as a Bilingual Executive Secretary, with additional training in administration, leadership, and human resources. She resides in Quito, Ecuador.

Daniela Andrade
Daniela joined FHC in 2022. She has a Master's degree in Finance and Bachelor's degrees in both Economics and Finance. She oversees the finance department, drawing on her expertise in both Ecuadorian and U.S. accounting and tax regulations. Daniela's journey with FHC started as an undergraduate volunteer and has grown over the past decade, during which she met her husband, Nathan. Currently, she resides in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Nathy Coe Velasco
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Nathy joined the FHC staff in 2018. She is passionate about serving vulnerable children and enjoys meeting new people and building meaningful relationships with supporters. As Manager of the Development Team, Nathy leads FHC’s fundraising initiatives and oversees marketing and communications efforts. She holds a degree in Pre-Hospital Care and Emergency Management from the Central University of Ecuador. Nathy resides in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Stephy became part of the FHC team in 2023. She is responsible for coordinating international short-term mission teams, managing visitors, and overseeing the sponsorship program. Stephy is deeply committed to supporting vulnerable children and fostering meaningful connections with our supporters. She has a degree in Foreign Trade from Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in Ecuador. Stephy lives in Quito, Ecuador.
Jenniffer Orellana Day
Jenn joined the FHC team in 2018. As the Outreach Coordinator she engages with and cultivates relationships with churches and donors in the U.S. Her responsibilities involve direct communication and outreach efforts to strengthen support for FHC’s mission. Jenn is a certified commercial pilot and has a background as a teacher’s aide and wedding planner. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Hogar Para Sus Niños
In Ecuador, a dedicated team ensures that the children receive the highest quality of care and love. Hogar Para Sus Niños is the Ecuadorian legal organization for For His Children, overseeing the operations of the two homes in the country. They employ approximately 70 full- and part-time staff members, including caregivers (tías), social workers, psychologists, speech and physical therapists, teachers, and administrative staff.
