Praying For A Family

Tomas and Jacob* are twin brothers. They were brought to FHC in April 2015. In early 2016, after nearly a year in our care, they were reunited with their father, who had worked hard to complete the steps of reunification. Sadly, in July of the same year, their father was killed in a tragic accident. FHC has been their family since then.

The brothers are very loving and sweet and often look after each other. Tomas is blind and has developmental delays. He attends a local school and is learning Braille. Jacob is blind in his left eye and has minimal vision in his right eye. He has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and developmental delays. He recently had hip surgery to help him walk on his own in the future.

We celebrated their eleventh birthday earlier this year. Sadly, as they get older it is more difficult for the Ecuadorian government to find a family for them. They have been cleared for international adoption and we are praying and advocating to find a family for them.

Would you help us? If you’d like to know more about the adoption process in Ecuador or how you can help, please email us at: info@forhischildren-ecuador.org
