Maria Needed a Family
Dear friend,
I remember the day we received the call about Maria*. The children’s home where she was living was closing, and they needed a place for her to stay. She had no family. She had nowhere else to go.
I know you have a heart for vulnerable children, and I’d like to share with you a unique opportunity to impact Maria’s life forever.
Would you consider sending a gift by September 22nd to provide Maria with a lifetime of love and personalized care? Due to her special needs and age, For His Children will be her forever family.
Maria was born with de Morsier Syndrome, a rare disorder which causes severe visual impairment and neurological problems. Due to her significant needs, she was abandoned when she was very young. She was left alone.
But that is not the end of Maria’s story.
A special campaign is underway through September 22nd, with the goal of raising $130,000 to provide a lifetime of love and personalized care to Maria and our young adults with special needs. Thanks to generous donors, all gifts up to $24,000 will be matched!
Your gift is so important and will ensure Maria is surrounded by loving caregivers. She will receive physical therapy and medical care. An occupational caregiver will help her become more independent in daily tasks such as dressing and caring for herself. Most of all, she will know how loved and valued she is!
Maria is not able to live independently, and Ecuador does not have many resources for young adults with special needs. This is why your gift is so important and impactful. Without your support, Maria would not have a family or opportunities to build upon her strengths.
