A letter to

A great friend

You have been instrumental in the lives of vulnerable children and young adults in Ecuador. That’s why I wanted to share about a particular need and ask if you would consider sending a special year-end gift to provide Rebeca* with the love and care of a family.

Rebeca was born prematurely with significant medical conditions and abandoned at birth. This Christmas she won’t be with her mother or father. But you can help her.

Will you please send a year-end gift by midnight, December 31st to give Rebeca the love and care of a family? All gifts up to $25,000 will be matched!

Your gift will provide Rebeca with the love and care of a family. You will ensure she has loving caregivers who provide her with personalized care and share the hope we have in Jesus. She will receive physical therapy and the medical support she needs to thrive. You will also give her the opportunity for a forever family.

Without your support, Rebeca could face greater risk of neglect or abuse. Shortly after birth she experienced respiratory arrest, convulsions, and many serious health challenges. Her development has been delayed and she faces an uncertain future. If a child like Rebeca doesn’t receive personalized care in a safe, loving home the consequences can be tragic – affecting her development forever. That is why your gift is incredibly important and powerful – truly transforming her life!

Your gift will provide Rebeca with the love and care of a family! She will be dearly loved and prayed for by her caregivers. She will be surrounded by a medical team, providing her with the best possible care and therapy. And Rebeca will hear of God’s incredible love for her.

You’ll also ensure Rebeca has the possibility of one day joining a forever family. And your gift will support all the work of For His Children

Children with special needs face greater risks throughout their life and need your help.

Would you send a gift before the end of the year to provide the love and care of a family to a child with special needs? As a mother myself, I long for Rebeca to experience this.

You will not only give her and children with special needs a safe, loving home through For His Children, but you’ll be part of a group of generous donors providing hope for a brighter future.

We are currently experiencing a budget deficit of $216,000 but your gift will ensure For His Children starts next year on the best possible financial footing and can provide the love and care of a family to many more children in need.

I’m so grateful to have you as a member of the For His Children family, providing life-changing care to vulnerable children. Thank you for your generosity and heart for children with special needs. This Christmas may you experience the hope we have in Jesus in new ways and feel His love.

Sincerely,

Jen Thomas

Executive Director

P.S. If you’re able, please send your special gift before midnight, December 31st to give Rebeca the love and care of a family.
