A long journey for Andres

A letter to you

Dear friend,

I'm so grateful for your compassion and your heart for children in vulnerable situations. That’s why I wanted to share a special need with you and ask if you would consider sending a special year-end gift to provide Andres* with the love and care of a family.

When Andres first arrived at FHC, two beds were pushed together so he could hold his sister’s hand as they fell asleep. He couldn’t stand another separation. It was too soon.

Will you send a special year-end gift by midnight, December 31st, to give Andres the love and care of a family? All gifts up to $45,000 will be matched!

Migration impacts children and puts them at risk, but you can help.

Your gift will provide Andres with the love and care of a family. You will surround him with loving, trained caregivers. They will celebrate his milestones and share God's love. He will receive all the support he needs to thrive.

Without your help, Andres could be in danger of not getting the care he needs. His parents left Venezuela looking for a better life, but they struggled with substance abuse and couldn't take care of their children. They were found living on the streets in Ecuador. But this is not the end of his story. You can change it.

Your gift is incredibly powerful! You will provide Andres with the love and care of a family! He will be dearly loved and prayed for by his caregivers. He will be surrounded by a loving family, providing him with the best possible care. And Andres will hear of God’s incredible love for him.

You’ll also ensure Andres has the possibility to be reunited with his biological family or join a forever family through adoption. And your gift will support all the work of For His Children.

We are currently experiencing a budget deficit of $359,000. Your gift will help For His Children start next year strong. It will provide love and care for many more children in need.

Would you send a gift before the end of the year to provide the love and care of a family to a vulnerable child? Can you help provide a home for Andres this Christmas?

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, may peace, hope, and joy fill your heart and home. We thank God for your generosity and heart for vulnerable children.

Thank you for providing a home for vulnerable children this Christmas.

Sincerely,

Jen Thomas, Executive Director

P.S. If you’re able, please send your special gift before midnight, December 31st, to give Andres the love and care of a family!
