How to get involved in the ministry of FHC:
- Prayer
Our most important prayer needs at FHC are:
- for improved health for our children with special needs
- for adoptive families for our children with special needs
- for wisdom, direction and strength for those in leadership positions
- for the financial resources to continue funding FHC’s programs
- and for the continual spiritual nurturing of the children and our
Ecuadorian staff.
Our praises are many and we invite you to join us in giving thanks for:
- God's constant provision for the many needs of the ministry: financial,
spiritual, physical, etc.
- the national and international visitors who volunteer at FHC
- physical and spiritual protection for the ministry
- our loving and caring Ecuadorian staff
- continued positive relationships with the local government, hospitals, clinics, and related institutions.

- Donations
Caring for abandoned children with special needs is costly.
Fortunately, medical care, food, clothing and utilities are less expensive in Ecuador than in North America and Europe. FHC is dedicated to providing this quality care because we believe that each child is unique and
precious. In order to continue providing excellent care for His children, we encourage your participation financially. Your donations make this ministry possible.
Contributions are tax-deductible, as FHC is a (U.S.) 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are receipted promptly in Divide, Colorado. A financial statement is available on request.

- Group Trips/Church Involvement
FHC can help your organization or church plan a trip to Ecuador for 7 to 14 days, and will be your
hosts while your group is in the country. Groups typically come to Quito to volunteer their time,
energies and finances for needed FHC projects (construction, building maintenance, health care needs, etc.,
and last but not least, helping to care for the babies and children!) Contact Clark Vaughn at

- Volunteer!
Whether our readers are college-age or are looking for a second career, whether you are are searching for life’s path, or “retired and ready”…, if you are willing to serve in a Christian ministry with enthusiasm and excellence, FHC would like to meet you and correspond with you! Our ministry continues to grow, and we have many opportunities for involvement, no matter what your interests, skills or age. We’d like to discuss how to prepare for this life-changing step, to help you with your questions and concerns, and to talk about how FHC can show you how making a career choice for Christ can be one of life’s most fulfilling steps.
